1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using our training website or attending any of our training programs, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement.

2. Personal Use, Copyright and Media Restrictions

The International Image Institute training programs and courses are strictly for personal use and educational purposes. All training content, including videos, tools, resources, handouts, and workbooks, is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

Participants agree to the following restrictions:

  • No Recording of Instruction:
Students attending in-person training may not record video or audio of Karen Brunger or any faculty member teaching. This includes classroom demonstrations, explanations, and proprietary methodologies. These teachings are considered confidential and proprietary.
  • Client Privacy:
Students are strictly prohibited from filming or photographing any of Karen’s clients during in-person training, whether during demonstrations or consultations.
  • Filming Peers:
Students may take photos or videos of other students only with their explicit consent.
  • Use of Materials:
No training materials (including but not limited to: videos, PDFs, handouts, printed workbooks, online tools, proprietary forms, or screenshots of materials) may be copied, shared, reproduced, distributed, or posted online. For example, students may not take photos of workbook pages and send or share them with others. All materials are for the sole use of the enrolled participant.
  • Individual Registration Requirement
Registration is valid for the enrolled participant only. You may not register yourself and use the training materials, videos, or teachings to educate others, including friends, family members, team members, or staff. Your registration grants access exclusively for your own personal education and development.
If you are interested in learning alongside others or would like your team members to receive training as well, please contact us at rianna@imageinstitute.com for potential discount and commission opportunities.

Violation of these policies may result in:

  • Immediate removal from the training program without refund.
  • Termination of access to course content and related community groups.
  • Legal action, if necessary, to protect the intellectual property of the International Image Institute and its clients.

3. Payment Terms

All courses are non-refundable. By purchasing a course, you agree to this no-refund policy.

If participants choose the pay-in-instalments option, all instalments must be paid in full prior to attending any in-person training sessions. Once a payment has been initiated, it cannot be cancelled or refunded.

4. Affiliation Restrictions and Intellectual Property Restrictions

Participants may not advertise, promote, or sell any tools, services, or training materials they create as being affiliated with, endorsed by, or based on the International Image Institute.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Using the International Image Institute’s name, logo, course titles, or proprietary content for commercial purposes.
  • Creating derivative products or services based on International Image Institute training materials or systems.
  • Using the International Image Institute’s colour palettes (including their colour groupings, selections, or representations) in your own products or service offerings. These palettes are proprietary and may not be copied, adapted, or repackaged for your own brand or clients.

If you would like to incorporate the International Image Institute’s tools, resources, or palettes into your services, please contact us to inquire about licensing options.

Restriction on Teaching and Training Activities
The International Image Institute’s training programs, methodologies, frameworks, and materials are proprietary and may not be used to teach, train, certify, or educate others in any capacity.

Participants are strictly prohibited from:

  • Creating or offering training programs, workshops, courses, or certifications based on, derived from, or substantially informed by International Image Institute training content.
  • Teaching or sharing the methodologies, systems, or intellectual frameworks learned through our programs as part of their own educational offerings.
  • Representing themselves as qualified to train or certify others using International Image Institute methodologies.

We also strongly emphasize the ethical responsibility of ensuring sufficient experience, depth of understanding, and professional maturity before offering training or education to others. Prematurely offering training without appropriate expertise may mislead others and does not align with the standards upheld by the International Image Institute.

Any individual interested in teaching, licensing, or training opportunities must obtain prior written authorization from the International Image Institute.

Violation of this policy may result in legal action to protect our intellectual property and brand integrity.

5. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued participation in our courses or use of our site after such changes are made constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms of Service.

6. Code of Ethics

As a participant in a International Image Institute Training Program, you are expected to adhere to the following ethical principles:

  • Confidentiality: Respect the confidentiality of all proprietary information shared during the program, including that of other students and clients.
  • Respect and Inclusivity: Treat fellow participants, staff, and clients with kindness, inclusiveness, and respect.
  • Professional Conduct and Communication

Participants are expected to contribute to a respectful and professional learning environment at all times. This includes both in-person and online conduct, as well as any public or private communications relating to the training.

Participants agree to:

  • Engage respectfully with trainers, staff, and fellow participants.
  • Refrain from making disparaging, misleading, or defamatory statements about the training, its content, or its instructors, particularly while a program is in progress.
  • Raise concerns or feedback directly with the International Image Institute in a constructive and professional manner before sharing public commentary.
  • Avoid behaviour or commentary that may disrupt the learning environment or negatively impact the experience of other participants.

Failure to meet these standards may result in:

  • Removal from the training program without refund.
  • Denial of access to community groups or future training opportunities.
  • Review of eligibility for continued participation in current or future programs.
